Power Scheduler Sr. jobs in Portsmouth, NH

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and products, verifying accuracy of shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and containers, and move materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner, ensuring proper labeling and storage practices are followed.
• Prepare materials for shipment by picking, packing, and staging orders according to established procedures.
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders in a timely manner and support warehouse operations as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper operation of equipment and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, cleaning spills, and disposing of packing materials.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
