Job Role:

• Audit existing automation solutions, such as inventory management and material issuing, to identify areas for improvement
• Work closely with business analysts and process engineers to understand and streamline business processes, especially in composite manufacturing
• Design, develop, and maintain applications within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly focusing on SharePoint online

• Develop and configure databases to store and retrieve company data effectively
• Integrate SharePoint with our current ERP software, Global Shop Solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and business process automation
• Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and ensure that solutions are scalable and secure
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring optimal use of developed solutions
• Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies and updates to contribute to strategic planning and system enhancements
• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure alignment with overall IT strategy and compliance with data governance and security policies
• Potential to transition into an ERP Solution Architect role
• Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies

• College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in IT administration and software development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setting a plus
• Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Developer with strong expertise in SharePoint Online
• Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices and software implementation
• Experience with automation solutions, such as inventory management, bill of materials (BOM) uploads, and material issuing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL a plus
• Familiarity with Sharepoint and database management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments and vendors
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
