Fibreworks Composites was founded in 2009 and is privately owned by Guenther Steiner and Joe Hofmann. In 2019 Joe and Guenther decided to launch an AS9100 / ISO certified sister company called Composite Factory. Composite Factory’s primary focus is to diversify our business into Aerospace, Aero structures, Aviation and Defense, and the Medical industries that require a higher level of traceability and certification. Our core mission is to exceed our customers' needs by embracing challenges that surpass the capabilities of our competitors.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving existing automation solutions, creating custom business applications, and developing various automated reports and dashboards within the Microsoft Power Platform environment.
Job Role:

Audit existing automation solutions, such as inventory management and material issuing, to identify areas for improvement

Work closely with business analysts and process engineers to understand and streamline business processes, especially in composite manufacturing

Design, develop, and maintain applications within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly focusing on SharePoint online

Work closely with business analysts and process engineers to understand and streamline business processes, especially in composite manufacturing

Develop and configure databases to store and retrieve company data effectively

Integrate SharePoint with our current ERP software, Global Shop Solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and business process automation

Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and ensure that solutions are scalable and secure

Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring optimal use of developed solutions

Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies and updates to contribute to strategic planning and system enhancements

Collaborate with IT team members to ensure alignment with overall IT strategy and compliance with data governance and security policies

Potential to transition into an ERP Solution Architect role

Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
What You Will Bring to the Team:
-
College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
-
Experience in IT administration and software development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setting a plus

Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Developer with strong expertise in SharePoint Online

Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices and software implementation

Experience with automation solutions, such as inventory management, bill of materials (BOM) uploads, and material issuing

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL a plus
-
Familiarity with Sharepoint and database management

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments and vendors

Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
