Description
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the food and beverage service for the location.
This position is responsible for the efficient execution of all food and beverage service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure execution of all food and beverage service programs including proper ordering, planning, product handling and display.
Responsible to meet and / or maintain cost of goods sold (COGS), waste, and misuse by following set systems in place.Execute food and beverage service efficiencies, i.
e., day dots, FIFO, cooking oil maintenance, cleanliness.Support the F&B Manager as needed to oversee the inventory and ordering of product and supplies and ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of the food and beverage service equipment and facilities.
Execute the training, coaching and performance management of food and beverage service Team Members. Assist with all matters relating to food and beverage Team Members including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, Team Member engagement and performance management.
Utilize company software and programs for ordering, inventory, time keeping, and logs.Execute and exceed local Board of Health Guidelines and cleanliness standards.
Ensures knowledge of and adherence to all safety standards and programs.Ensure knowledge of and adherence to all Company Food and Beverage Best Practices.
Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly checklists are being utilized and followed up on.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 18 years of age.At least two-years previous leadership.At least one year food and beverage experience.
TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certified, and Allergen certified or within the first 30 days of hireMust be familiar and have worked with kitchen equipment.
Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Excellent communication and listening skills.
Proficiency in English.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.Ability to satisfy all physical demands : standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling up to 35 pounds.
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays as required.
