Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Automated Assembly Operator (AAO) will be an integral part of driving the business forward. Under the guidance and direction of the Production Supervisor, the AAO is responsible for automated assembly machine production flow, including machine set up and operation, material handling, Epicor and process paperwork, and the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment. The AAO position is a part of a team that performs assembly duties according to written or oral work instructions. The position includes manual support to production activities related to assembly of products, material transactions, inspection, and packaging of finished goods.
