Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are adding to our Industrial Construction team!
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Precision Millwright at our Midlothian, Tx location.
Precision Millwrights should be able to assemble, set, align and balance various equipment, as well as install all related components. Millwrights also perform critical lifts involving major components to be flown level at up to and within precision limits (thousandths of an inch). Because of their training and expertise, Millwrights are used to work on tasks associated with flying and setting heavy machinery.
Millwrights must have a good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics), and all of the components involved in these processes, such as valves, cylinders, pumps and compressors. They are also trained to work with a wide array of precision tools, such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, levels, gauge blocks, and optical and laser alignment tooling.
Applicant must possess many of the tools needed to complete their tasks.
This position also requires EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE and attention to detail. Must be able to work at high heights, bend and stand for 10hr shifts.
It will also require and is dependent on passing a pre-employment drug screen/ physical, E-verify, and background check.
Pay rate is 28.00 hr and 100.00 a day per diem - IF you are more than 50 miles from your home.
