Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. 1st Shift Assembly: 5:30am - 2:00pm with daily and weekend OT as needed.
2nd shift Assembly: 4:30pm - 1:00am with daily and weekend OT as needed.
** $2 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.**
Hourly Pay Rate: $22.92

This position will be responsible for working in the process and production of cooling tower manufacturing in Olathe, KS. This position may work in various departments (Assembly, Plastics, JIT Fab, Stores/Warehouse). The position may assume additional duties as assigned. The successful incumbent will be detail oriented, able to follow instructions, and work well in a team atmosphere. This position may work in any station or operation of the manufacturing process.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
