Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Stotz Equipment is seeking a full-time Precision AG Service Technician. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, "hands-on" individual that has a passion for agriculture technology evolution and experience in the agriculture industry. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships with new and existing agriculture management systems technology, developing and managing long-term customer relationships, and maximizing gross margin contribution through sales of Precision Ag software and services. Will coordinate and work trade shows, coordinate customer clinics, and sales presentations to large groups. Will work in the field, in the service shop, and occasionally in the office.
