Precision Grinder operates precision grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments and grinding machines for grinding angles, contours, lines, and spheres on to surfaces. Being a Precision Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Precision Grinder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Preci Manufacturing is looking to add an experienced CNC OD/ID Grinder to our team! Preci is a fast paced, expanding precision machining facility, and is looking for quality-minded, motivated, and responsible individuals. This position requires setting up and running grinding machines, with details such as loading machine programs and mounting necessary tooling/fixtures to produce quality product. Two years of experience interpreting G-code programming, part inspection, and machine set-up is preferred, with previous grinding experience a plus. If you have worked in a machine shop before and have strong mechanical aptitude and a keen desire to learn, we encourage you to apply!

Punctual, dependable and organized. Must be mechanically minded.
