Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate presses according to specifications and production requirements
- Monitor press operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Load materials onto the press and unload finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on presses to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role preferred
- We have 2 presses - Mark Andy 813 and Mark Andy 2200. Experience with either or both of these is a valuable skill.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Proficiency in basic math calculations for measurements and quantities
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, milling machines, and welding equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of materials handling, fabrication, machining, and quality control is desirable
