Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing and design franchise is seeking candidates for a position with our Frisco, TX location as a Digital Print Production and Bindery Associate. This position will be responsible for assisting our customers in person at our office with their print, promotional and design projects.

Experience with digital printers such as Xerox or similar using a Command Workstation is desired and large format printing experience is a plus. Experience with finishing equipment, including cutting, folding, binding, scoring and perforation is required.

• We require great detail and organizational skills
• Understand, set-up and operate digital print equipment
• Experience with Fiery Command Workstation RIP (or similar) is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• PC knowledge
• Ability to commute/relocate
• Excellent time-management skills are necessary. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks and daily deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion.
• Working with and manipulating PDF files is necessary this is not a graphic design oriented position however experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational & communication skills (written & verbal)
• General shop cleaning is expected

Job Summary :

The Production Associate is responsible for the production of advertising materials such as Signs, banners, blue prints, brochures, flyers and other printed material. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. We are seeking an experienced individual that has pre-press experience and a digital print background. This is a full-time position. We require great detail and organizational skills. Your duties will include digital printing, submitting files to RIP, working directly with customer service representatives, working with the design department and being part of a cohesive team.

Responsibilities:

The Production Associate is responsible for the production of advertising materials such as business cards, postcards, books, banners, signs and other digital materials. Your duties will include digital printing, submitting files to RIP, working directly with customers, working with the graphic design department and being part of a cohesive team.

• Read digital print production work order and job ticket for specific instructions
• Main focus on Bindery and Finishing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Print all approvals and include in job jacket with a sample
• Run jobs as per work order
• File artwork using the unique archiving system in place
