Press Operator - All Widths jobs in Gastonia, NC

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of presses to produce high-quality parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties:
- Set up and operate stamping presses, milling machines, or other machinery as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform basic programming of CNC machines or logic controllers
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with machining processes and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
