Job Requirements
Performs routine printing procedures on the digital presses.
Does quality inspections for high quality output
Adheres to established procedures for press use and floor workflow.
Uses visual discrimination to ensure high quality output and uses analysis and judgment.
Handles consumables appropriately to maintain safe and efficient use of materials.
Operator demonstrates proper handling of paper materials.
Operates using the safety and disposal procedures.
Ensure customer SLA's are met for on time delivery.
Actively participate and follow safe working practices in a factory environment.
Directly support the shift supervisor and area leads in the daily production operations.
Work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by shift supervisor.
Maintain accurate timecards through proper use of the punch clock.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Ability to perform minor and complex consumable replacement when necessary.
Knows how to utilize & understand the press software to print files.
Good aptitude for mechanical and electrical functions
Experience/Training
Having a background in printing technology (traditional press operation, prepress, graphic design)
and basic computer skills are preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
