Overview:
Job Title: Press Operator
Division: Aggregate Division
Location: Various Locations-South Area Aggregates Division

Job Summary: Under the direction of the aggregate superintendent and aggregate foreman, the press operator is responsible to oversee the operation and maintenance of the press and other related equipment. Day shift, swing shift, graveyard shift, and Rolling 3 Crew Four Ten schedules are necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.

Responsible for a safe work environment and the safety of crew.

Responsible for operation and maintenance of the press and all related equipment.

Ensure that oil changes, maintenance, and greasing are completed to schedule.

Complete daily workplace examinations, inspection records
- Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
-
Press and conveyor belt knowledge is essential.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Weight lifted: Up to 50 pounds.

Physical Movement: Frequently required to climb, kneel, bend or twist, stretch and reach. Move arms and legs quickly. Be in good physical shape.

Speaking / Listening: Needs to be able to communicate effectively with supervision, crew, and follow and deliver instructions, and understand safety requirements.

Working Conditions: 25% of the time spent outdoors and subject to environmental elements and subject to moderate to loud noises.
