Press Operator - All Widths completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Press Operator - All Widths conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Additionally, Press Operator - All Widths completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Press Operator - All Widths independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. To be a Press Operator - All Widths typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

This person will set up and run a narrow web Mark Andy Press. Chaucer Press prints pressure-sensitive labels, cut and stack labels, extended content labels and flow wrap labels. Part of your responsibility will be to ensure the job is set up and running properly and checking quality throughout the run of printing labels. If you are an experienced label press operator and are driven to work with other great people and take pride in what you do, we want you!
We are currently hiring for 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm Monday through Friday
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a narrow web flexo press
- Pay depends on experience level
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and mathematical skills
- Be reliable with great work ethic
- Experience operating a Mark Andy machine is a bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.39 - $21.46 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
