Press Operator Assistant - All Widths jobs in Hialeah, FL

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Stamping professional to join our team. As a Metal Stamping, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metal stamping machines to produce high-quality metal parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay rate $20-$22 p/h

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:45am to 2:15pm

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metal stamping machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the stamping machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition
-Able to operate mechanical power presser, drill presses, material choppers, straighteners, and un-coilers.

- Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece

- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation

Experience:
- Previous experience operating metal stamping machines
- Mechanical background
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

- Ability to read and speak in English and Spanish

- Forklift experience
