Job Summary:
The Offset Second Press Operator is responsible for assisting with the management of all aspects of the printing press operation by performing manual and automated machine operator tasks during the set-up, maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of Inland’s Offset presses. This role has core responsibility for the substrates, inks and chemistries that run on the Offset presses. The Offset Second Press Operator will ensure that presses are set up and supplied properly prior to print production, to ensure press efficiencies are met. In partnership with the Lead Operators, this role ensures that quality and throughput goals are achieved, while also exhibiting a safety-first attitude. This individual must be a team player and will readily float across various operational areas to assist in the overall efficiency of the operations. Successful individuals will possess the drive to continue to grow within the Operations group and will tenaciously pursue skill development opportunities. The Offset Second Press Operator must have the desire to advance within the department and take on roles and responsibilities that scale in ownership.
