Press Brake Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• This position operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment and other components from sheet metal to metal plates

• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.

• Ensures that there are suffient raw materials available

• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches

• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints

• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.

• Work with tight tolerances.

• Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures

• Must have at least 2 years experience

• Must have experience with press brake or sheer experience on production scale

Press Brake operator Shift Info

• Day Shift, 07:00 am to 03:30pm

• Monday - Friday

Press Brake operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls

• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly

• Ability to follow instructions

• Good communication skills

• Team player, Willing to go the extra mile

• Constantly looking for ways to increase efficency or productivity and willing to present leadership qualities

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans

• Basic computer and math skills

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US.
