Press Operator Assistant - All Widths jobs in Savannah, GA

The Statesboro Herald a regional printing company has opening for a press operator. We are seeking an individual who is self-driven to become a pressman for a Goss Community Press. Printing experience is a plus but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate.

The following skills are required for this position:

• Teamwork skills - must be able to work well with others.
• Mechanical skills - basic skills required.
• Quality Control skills - ensuring print the highest print quality.
• Time management skills - be able to meet deadlines

This job does require lifting, climbing, pushing, and standing for extended periods of time. The work hours are afternoon into evening and is Monday - Thursday with occasional overtime. Employees are expected to have good attendance, and have good punctuality.

We are requiring all candidates to have a minimum of 2 years industrial experience. Please provide past work experience and references. All employees must do a inhouse background check before hiring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
