This part-time position (20-25 hours/week) will work onsite and will assist the Marketing Department in building and fostering relationships within the local community to promote the organizations brand, enhance community engagement and ensure effective communication both externally and internally through traditional communication tactics and event management. Qualified candidates will have a BA or AA in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or a related field and at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, the position requires proficiency with computers, including Internet research, social media, MS Word and Excel, and Photoshop or similar software; and the ability to work effectively with interruptions, deadlines and shifting priorities.
