Pricing Manager North America
Job Summary:
The North America Tube division is hiring a Pricing Manager. In charge of Pricing and Discount strategy for Tubes in North America, manages and ensure maintenance of pricing tool (Price Matrix), supports Sales teams in the RFQ process, analyze and structure pricing intelligence to provide insightful report and support commercial decisions, control of the pricing process to guarantee data reliability.

Scope:
This position reports to the VP & General Manager in Tubes North America.
Main activities:
Pricing Strategy & Policy:
- Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies (“Pricing & Margin Corridors”) and models by market segments and geographies.
- Define Pricing strategy for New Products (combination of Value Based Pricing / Market benchmark) working along with Marketing Sales & Operation.
- Margin improvement.
- Participate actively in all the different routines to ensure the margin of the existing product portfolio.
- Develop pricing analyses to track the margin.
- Share with the other PL the best practices.
Pricing Tools (Price Matrix) & Processes:
- Ensure that all Pricing Tools (Price Matrix) and processes are robust, up to date, and properly used by sales teams and commercial team.
- Ensure all quotations are entered in the system and closed with insightful feedback (reason why win / lost).
- Define and enforce a pricing policy for Tube Americas with the support of PL Pricing Managers and the IT department, assure the improvement of the pricing tools.
Pricing Performance Dashboard:
- Develop a pricing performance Dashboard.
- Provide insightful analysis on Pricing Position (Price & Marin Curves).
- Animate Regular reviews with Sales team and Marketing.
Accountability including KPIs:
- Lead the pricing strategy process for all new elements of Albea Tubes NA value proposal (products & services) KPI: Share a price recommendation.
- Lead the pricing strategy process ad hoc when Sales reach out for support in RFQs KPI: Share a price recommendation: Walk-in price/Walk-out price.
- Continuously challenge the data and the integrity of the data in Price Matrix KP Carry out regular checks and analysis vs. specs available in plants, new specs launched, market prices and functionality.
- Offer ad hoc or proactive support to improve the value proposal by bringing both a Pricing Strategy and a Business (customer) outlook. Participate in the design of all new value proposals Seek continuous improvement of Sales processes KPI: Improve existing or design new tools & processes relevant to facilitating business growth for Sales or execution of the Operating Agenda for Management.
Profile (Experience & qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or above.
- 5 years of experience in in Pricing, ideally in the industry (packaging, automotive).
- Experience in Commercial/Sales Excellence.
- Costing experience a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
- Thorough, persistent and eagerness to work with numbers.
- Data Analysis.
- Effective communicator. Ability to liaise both internally and externally across functions and communicate customer needs in a clear manner.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to go from complex problems to actionable solutions.
