Adelphoi Education Partial Program in Latrobe is looking for a full-time Principal.

Qualifications
 ·       Pennsylvania Certification as Secondary School Principal or Principal K-12.
 ·       Administrative experience preferred.  
 ·       Master’s degree in education or related fields.
 ·       Effective communication skills, both oral and written, as well as interpersonal skills.
 ·       Demonstrated leadership ability.
 ·       Recognized by colleagues and community for teaching excellence, and positive working       relationships.
 ·       Graduate study/professional experience directed toward the development and maintenance of an understanding of research and current curriculum trends and procedures of staff supervision.
 ·       Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, standards, supervision, and evaluation.
 ·       Knowledge of research-based strategies to improve student achievement.
 ·       Master schedule experience preferred.
 ·       Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and be flexible.
 ·       Must be able to work collaboratively with a highly motivated administrative team.
 ·       Ability to work proactively with students and address issues with students in a proactive nature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 ·       Provide educational leadership for students and staff.
 ·       Foster a positive building climate based on assessing and meeting student needs.

 Evaluate the instructional program and the performance of professional staff.
 ·       Assist teachers in their contact with parents.
 ·       Meet with parents and community groups.
 ·       Attend school events and activities.
 ·       Help to coordinate the maintenance of the building.
 ·       Problem solve crisis situations.
