Salary:$16.00-$24.00 per hour DOE Benefits

Hours/Shifts:

• Monday - Friday 8:00am-5pm 1 hour lunch
• Some flexibility schedule in hours after completion of probation period.
• We are NOT open on weekends.
• Overtime hours may be available due to large projects with short deadlines.

Job description:

Bindery production includes learning multiple pieces of equipment over time in order to complete production operations for a multitude of products distributed to our customers.

• Operating machinery to perform cut, fold, trim, bind, and finish functions.
• Equipment includes, but not limited to, folder, booklet maker, perf machine, stitcher, paper cutter, die cutter, UV coater, shrink wrapper, card slitter, paper drills, and more.
• Troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Package jobs, complete work orders, tickets, and delivery receipts as necessary and place them in their assigned areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Preferred Experience: Bindery & Finishing knowledge, or other printing industry production experience.

Required Abilities:

• A mechanical aptitude, general tool knowledge/experience.
• Good math and measurement abilities.
• Attention to detail and time management oriented.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work with fast and changing deadlines.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Regularly bends, stoops, and crouches.
• Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods.
