Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Print Production Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Production Coordinator is a highly organized, results-driven professional who supports the high-profile and high-demand day-to-day operational needs of the Office of Strategic Communication and Initiatives.
Utilizing project management software, this person will help with project intake, scheduling, and distribution of communication using established procedures and working under limited supervision to perform assigned tasks.
This includes managing the distribution of communications, tracking deliverables, and scheduling projects based on the team’s bandwidth and priorities to help maintain progress toward enrollment management departments and colleges’ goals.
