Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Education or Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years print production or direct mail services experience.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and essential responsibilities required:
· Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including spreadsheets and word-processing with a high degree of accuracy.
· Experience with Envelope Inserter/mailing equipment a plus.
Position Summary: The Print Production Operator position requires a Candidate who is an organized team player with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. The Candidate must have experience working in a fast paced production environment. Attention to detail is necessary to assure accuracy from the task process level to the review level. Tasks are deadlines received with set deadlines so the Candidate will be held to those schedules. Department task cross-training will enable the team effort to be a success.
