Field Production Coordinator

General Description

A Field Production Coordinator is a salaried position performed on active construction jobsites any combination of the duties described more fully below. A Field Production Coordinator typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking material shortages with vendors and following up throughout installation. Monitor supply stock and place orders as needed.
• Traveling between jobsites and warehouse facilities for materials pickup/deliveries.
• Contact the appropriate parties regarding any missing material or issues.
• Jobsite cleanup and hauling material to landfills.
• Communicate with operations team on project status for necessary inspections to maintain proper production flow.
• Be available as an onsite point of contact for deliveries and placement of materials.
• Communicate with onsite managers as needed.
• Maintain a contact list of all vendors and storage facilities.
• Oversee the construction process with multiple subcontractors.
• Responsible for maintaining safe and clean project sites.
• Must be able to work in a team environment safely and successfully.
• Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts.
• Ability to find the most efficient way to complete a task and look for ways to improve operations and its processes.

Working Conditions

• The territory will be primarily Southwest Florida but is not limited to this area. Work vehicle or stipend provided.
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity.
• Constant physical effort, including standing, is required. Frequently work with hands extended overhead, sometimes in conjunction with the operation of hand power tools.
• Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds and carry at least 30 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Manual dexterity to hand-carry lumber and other construction materials.
• Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
• Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions.
• Occasional overnight travel.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Live south of Sarasota, FL.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Past experience within the construction industry.
• Current driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
• Must be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job
• Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment with a customer focus

Salary will depend on experience.
