Print Production Coordinator jobs in La Crosse, WI

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, self-starter to join our team and see jobs through from start to finish. You will be handling the digital, creative side of things as well as the actual production of print jobs. This job also includes a good amount of customer service.

Essential Functions:

• Take jobs in from customers via email, phone, or in person
• Write up job tickets completely with consistency and accuracy
• Prepare/edit customer supplied files or create artwork based on customer expectations, press specifications, and production requirements
• Follow standard operating procedures and practices to ensure consistent and uniform quality and filing of job files
• Send proofs to customers for approval prior to printing
• Produce print jobs on digital presses according to job requirements
• Manage paper inventory carefully, keeping stock labeled and in its proper place
• Maintain presses in good working condition, placing service calls when needed
• Follow all instructions on how to produce print jobs, ensuring ease of finishing and consistency upon reprinting

Skills:

• Knowledge of both Mac & Windows operating systems
• Experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Acrobat
• A good understanding of digital file formats and vector vs raster based artwork
• Some knowledge of paper weights and measures is a plus
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to standard operating procedures
• Consistent and detail-oriented worker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
