Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Print Production Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Production Control Coordinator will coordinate and expedite various production control functions to maximize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
What You'll Do:- This supervisory position currently has one (1) direct report.
- Plan and schedule the various production departments within the foundry, taking into consideration production constraints, customer delivery requirements and operating efficiencies.
- Assemble daily production schedules of core, mold, pouring and finishing departments, coordinating all factors to maximize production capability.
- Modify the master schedule daily to reflect customer order revisions and production capabilities.
- Maintain constant contact with production departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work.
- Determine production hours needed for backlog and notify supervisor if overtime or reduced schedules are required.
- Assist in planning workloads for pattern, corebox and other production tooling repair centers.
- Compile backlog information and other data from master schedules for use in shop planning meetings as required.
- Maintain contact with the Shipping Department to notify of daily production and shipping requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery concerns.

- Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Production Control Environment preferred but will consider candidate with similar skill set.
- Seeking a highly motivated and self-managed individual.
- Good computer application skills, specifically Microsoft Office, BLIS, Odyssey and database systems.
- Excellent people skills. Ability to field problem calls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Light physical effort. Able to lift up to 20 pounds if needed. Physical movement includes repetitive motion, with twisting, bending and standing for most of shift.
- Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE.
- Always exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping.
- Treat all employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
- Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
- Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
