Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Print Production Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Summary
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Team Member (Operator) will support the Manager, Assistant Production Manager, and Production Supervisor by performing tasks associated with the production functions; including bindery, wide format, and small format printing in a manner that effectively meets customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a willingness to learn, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to develop and maintain relationships.
