CEA is a not-for-profit organization facilitating community employment for individuals with disabilities. Our commercial packaging unit specializes in light packaging and assembly work for the commercial, retail, cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets.

The Production Manager provides the day-to-day supervision of packaging operations to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.

This position is full-time with benefits.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED; two (2) years of relevant experience in manufacturing, packaging, assembly or shipping and receiving; and one (1) year of experience supervising the work of others in achieving results; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Self-directed with an ability to effectively plan and organize the work of others to achieve goals.
• Experience supervising a diverse workforce, including individuals with disabilities, preferred.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and effectively manage time.
• Solid knowledge of quality systems and standards, process improvement techniques and health/safety standards and compliance.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Manage and resolve conflicts and problems effectively.
• Strong customer relations management orientation.
