Printed Circuit Board Designer designs and develops printed circuit boards. Generates documents using computer aided drafting (CAD) for schematic, assembly, and fabrication drawings. Being a Printed Circuit Board Designer drafts layouts for standard and dense, hi-speed, multi-layer boards. Helps engineers identify and resolve mechanical design issues. Additionally, Printed Circuit Board Designer may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Printed Circuit Board Designer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience in training or other related experience; or an Associate’s degree and Six (6) years of related experience in training or other related experience.
The duties and responsibilities of the Compliance Unit Training Specialist, as assigned by and through the Compliance Counsel, are as follows:
1. Develop and implement a web based tutorial for electronic filing with the Board;
2. Design and develop appropriate curriculum and instructional materials, including reference and training manuals, and programs related to campaign finance registration, filing and disclosure requirements;
3. Review on a regular basis, and revise as necessary, all existing instructional and support materials for campaign finance issues;
4. Develop and implement video and audio training sessions on campaign finance for dissemination and distribution to the county boards of elections, filers, and the public.
5. On an annual basis, and in cooperation with the local boards of elections, coordinate, schedule, and conduct a series of campaign finance training seminars throughout New York State. The locations selected each year shall ensure that all counties have the seminars available to them on a reasonable rotating basis.
6. Work with Compliance and PIO Units to keep State Board website updated and accessible with regards to campaign finance related materials and information;
7. Review campaign finance filings for compliance as assigned;
8. Review and process committee registration/ resignation requests as assigned;
9. Assist in training new compliance staff;
10. Assist on all task and matters as may reasonably be assigned by and through Compliance Counsel.
