Job title: Lab Technician
Position Type: Full Time (24-32.5 hours weekly) /9-month contract
Job location: Stamford, CT 06901
Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00am-3:00pm
Compensation: $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
• The position will be working as part of the microbiology laboratory team performing standard microbiological tests, such as preservative effectiveness, microbial limits testing, time kill kinetic studies, and in vivo testing supporting North America Consumer Brands business. Main responsibilities will be preparing large amounts of microbiological media, use of an autoclave, handling live microorganisms per standard procedures, performing basic microbiological testing, dish washing, and reporting out of results.
Qualifications:
• Preferred experience working in a microbiology laboratory or working on a degree with basic Microbiology laboratory courses.
