Printer jobs in Florida
Printer completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Printer conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Additionally, Printer completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Printer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Printer Operator:
The Digital/Wide Format Printing Technician is responsible for the majority of printing, He/she sends files, loads & unloads media, operates digital presses and the roll-fed and flatbed printers, and maintains machines. Works in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
Must have previous printing experience. We will train the right candidate on our machines.
Job Requirements:
- Previous Printing Experience
- Pre - Press experience
- Caldera experience a plus
- Color knowledge, a plus
- Must be able to work in a FAST paced, high energy environment, meeting extremely tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic with organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs
- Operates 6 printers and laser cutting machine
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
