Printer completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Printer conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Additionally, Printer completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Printer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     We are looking for someone to run the commercial printers here for the main part of the job. We have 3 different printers, and customers order different patterns/designs that need to be correctly filled per the order. Secondary would be to fill customers vinyl orders, do inventory, add new designs to the website, and make different t-shirts/adhesive products for display. We are also an authorized shipping outlet for UPS, so accepting customers packages, and helping customers that come in.

    Other tasks as follows:
    • Answer Emails.
    • Print out pick lists.
    • Ship orders on the computer.
    • Label shelves/vinyl/Sample rings.
    • Light cleaning.
    • Break down incoming shipments.
    • Some customer service.
    • Cutting down boxes.
    • Other tasks as assigned.

    This person would be standing/walking/moving for long periods of their day. This person must be able to bend down to reach the bottom of shelves. This person must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, have time management skills, and be able to get orders out quickly, and accurate. This person will have speed and efficiency at the top of their list of importance for our customers. This person must be punctual and reliable. This person must come to work on scheduled days, on time.

    Looking for someone available Monday- Friday. Our hours are: 8:00a-4:30p. This job is in Perry, MI. This individual must be willing to learn and willing to be a team player. This person must also be able to work independently. We are willing to train. Starting pay is $11/hr with up to an $80 per month attendance bonus.
    The starting pay is $12/hr with up to an $80 per month attendance bonus if you have knowledge in being able to tell the difference between adhesive vinyl and heat transfer vinyl. Knowledge in different file types (png, pdf, jpg, svg ect), knowledge in using designing software (knowing how to crop images, save images etc). Knowledge in using a Cricut or Silhouette machine.

    Pay increases with performance reviews and attendance in as soon as 45 days after start of employment.

    • Comfortable with a computer/Basic computer skills.
    • Come to work when scheduled-On time.
    • Reading/writing comprehension.
    • Counting-Adding, subtracting.
    • Understanding basic measurements.
    • Be able to lift 30lbs.
    • Stand/walk for long periods.
    • Bending down to reach bottom of shelves.
    • Our dogs come to work with us every day, so you can't be afraid of small dogs.
