Summary:

A Late Point Conversion Technician is responsible for customizing printers as needed by our customers. This can include installing printer options, updating firmware and/or loading custom configuration files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing printer options, testing, and configuring thermal printers.
• Diagnose/ Troubleshoot issues when configuring printers and replace parts as needed.
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure the printers are in good working condition before packaging.
• Verify all materials stated on the work order are in place at the time of starting a job.
• Record product information of work performed on printers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum education level of High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Computer experience to enter information on work completed.
• Mechanical/ electronic experience but not necessary as we can train on the job.
• Have a desire to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot/ investigate issues when doing installation of parts.
• Must demonstrate aptitude to work in a team environment.
• Possess attention to detail.

Physical Demands/ Work Environment

• Incumbent must be able to perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the job (stated above).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Position is Full time, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime during the month end.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
