The Printer/Copier Service Technician position is responsible for service, maintenance, and network installation on document imaging equipment (multi-function printers) in the Roanoke, Virginia area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of copiers, printers, scanners & fax machines.
• Perform network installation of copiers, printers & scanners, working with our customers IT support to load print drivers & setup scan to email/folders/SMB.
• Diagnosis & troubleshooting of network related printing & scanning issues.
• Setup & installation of new copiers & printers.
• Provide excellent customer service & support to our valued customers.
• Maintain an updated & complete car stock as well as updated service-related manuals & tools.
• Effective time/schedule management & prioritization of service requests.
• Adhere to all company policies, service procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong aptitude in analyzing mechanical movements and electrical components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/PC & MAC operating systems.
• Detail oriented including excellent time management skills.
• Excellent driving record. Motor Vehicle Report required for the selected candidate.
• High School diploma, college degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and reliable.
• Strong desire to continue learning about new industry technologies & equipment.
• Microsoft certifications or COMPTIA certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
