The Ohio Digital Academy (ODA) is seeking a skilled cybersecurity privacy analyst to join our July cohort! Selected analysts will join the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Office of Information Security & Privacy (OISP) and will be learning relevant skills and technologies in cybersecurity such as: managing privacy incidents and privacy-related service requests, drafting guidance and reports, participating in privacy-related task forces, and assisting with completing, collecting, and assessing privacy impact assessments.

The Ohio Digital Academy seeks to create a technology workforce pipeline by training and employing early entrants to the industry and setting them on a path to careers for in-demand fields such as cybersecurity, coding, software engineering, user experience design, cloud engineering/architecture, and data analytics.
Selected analysts earn $25 an hour beginning the first day of employment and attend an intensive four-week training program that focuses on civil service training, leadership, technical training & exercises, and professional development within 30 days of hire.

The Ohio Digital Academy is a division housed in the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) created and led by CyberOhio in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT).
What You'll Do:
As a Cybersecurity Privacy Analyst, you will be a key player on our Information Security & Privacy team, contributing significantly to enhancing and maintaining the state’s IT and Privacy posture. You will work closely with the OISP team, report directly to our Deputy Chief State Privacy Officer, and provide valuable assistance to state agencies, boards, and commissions (collectively referred to as “agencies”).
You will help drive the implementation of enterprise privacy tools and assist in growing Ohio’s Enterprise Privacy Program. Some of your day-to-day activities will consist of managing privacy incidents and privacy-related service requests, drafting guidance and reports, participating in privacy-related task forces, and assisting with completing, collecting, and assessing privacy impact assessments.
As an ODA Cybersecurity Privacy Analyst, you will be learning and working under the guidance of more experienced professionals. Your job duties will involve supporting them in various tasks while gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
