GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Outpatient Treatment Center director oversees the management and coordination of all services provided within the Outpatient Treatment Center which includes a variety of specialty outpatient clinics, vascular access and infusion services. The director ensures strategies, priorities, and operations of the Outpatient Treatment Center are aligned and compliments The Joint Commission and other standards as applicable to each specialty service. Other responsibilities include financial budgeting, identifying and building new outreach offerings, and quality improvement to ensure the department runs effectively and aligns with Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare's mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
One to three years' supervisory experience
JOB DUTIES:
Plans, manages, and directs all department operations
Provides professional development coaching to all staff
Completes staff performance evaluations timely
Demonstrates fiscal accountability and monitors budget expenditures
Develops strategy for delivering quality programs and department goals
Defines department performance objectives
Ensures the department delivers quality services in accordance with policies and procedures
Effectively and professionally communicate with staff, leaders, and guests
Collaborates with other departments/leaders to problem-solve ongoing issues
Completes required GVMH leadership initiatives timely
Attends meetings as required
Assures new employees receive proper departmental orientation and training
Updates staff competencies annually
Keeps medical staff informed of department actions and maintains a positive relationship with physicians
