Privacy Manager implements and enforces the organization's privacy strategy, including policies, procedures, and initiatives. Ensures all business and data management processes reflect privacy requirements and comply with laws and regulations. Being a Privacy Manager plans and implements privacy training programs and communications. Manages compliance monitoring, auditing, and remediation. Additionally, Privacy Manager leads research and prepares communications in response to privacy-related events or consumer, government, or media inquiries. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Privacy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Privacy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Quality will be responsible for all quality and quality assurance performance improvement activities within JMHS. The Director of Quality will ensure that all quality activities within the organization are achieved according to federal and state regulations. The Director of Quality will also serve as the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Privacy Officer and will oversee all HIPAA activities, training, and review of any HIPAA privacy concerns or breaches. The Director of Quality will demonstrate behaviors that align with Johnson Memorial Health Services’ Core Values: Together, Kindness, and Trust.
