Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Albany, NY 12204
Duration: 24 Months
Work Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of NY's prescription program, paper and electronic; prescriber education, issuing controlled substance licenses to healthcare facilities, processing drug destruction requests from healthcare facilities, providing guidance to pharmacies with submission of dispensed prescription data, and capturing complaints to ensure that health and safety standards are met and protect the public health by combating the illegal use and trafficking of prescription controlled substances. Duties include performing administrative support responsibilities such as maintaining various tracking and database systems, formatting documents in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, performing data entry operations and data quality control, monitoring shared email accounts and drafting professional responses, answering phones, referring calls, and answering inquiries, receiving and processing mail and fax documents, printing, scanning, faxing and photocopying and organizing and maintaining electronic (and paper) files.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
