Accounting Clerk, responsible to run accounting software programs to process business transactions like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense reimbursements, and customer payments. As a member of the Accounting team, you will also be assigned other miscellaneous roles contributing to our success!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Verify invoices and check requests, set up invoices for payment, and enter in system
• Prepare and process electronic deposits, payments, and perform check runs
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain customer and vendor files and correspond to inquiries
• Responsible for sales team commission payments and billing
• Assist with bank account reconciliations and provide supporting documentation for audits
• Cross train with other positions in accounting to provide coverage and understanding overall functions of the department.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 1 to 3 years in A/P, A/R or General Accounting experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Problem solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mathematical skills to be able to work with whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks is required.
• Experience in Payroll or HR is a plus, but not required

• Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Sitting for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
