About the position and company:

Capital Private Psychological Services is an established and growing private mental health counseling practice in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for an open-hearted, intelligent, and dynamic therapist to function as our Practice Manager who will support our clinicians and practice while positively contributing to the culture and growth of the practice. It is very important to the practice that the Practice Manager also sees approximately 5 clients each week. We have found a great benefit in our leadership continuing to practice alongside the individuals they are leading, and we need a Practice Manager who shares this leadership style, as well.

The best candidate for this position is a positive, creative, and flexible person who does well working independently but is also very adept at working well with a large group of individuals. The Practice Manager works closely with the Practice Owner, billing department, clinicians, and receptionists. This is a critical role in our practice because it is the one individual other than the owner who effects every aspect of the practice. This individual needs to be ready to function as a partner to and leader of the practice. More specifically, this individual is responsible for:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the practice
• Assisting the practice owner in client communication, practice growth and development, and the expansion of client services
• Assisting the practice owner in improving and expanding our online presence
• Developing programming and resources to build communities for clients within the practice
• Working with clinical supervisors and clinicians to meet and address daily needs. Additionally, this person will work with the team to implement new processes to improve upon the client and clinician experience.
• Supporting and develop the strong, positive, and productive culture of the practice.
• Being a leader who develops and supports staff while also maintaining accountability.
• Staying educated on the most current evidence-based practices
• Seeing approximately 5 clients per week and completing the necessary documentation for those sessions.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctorate-Level degree is required
• An active license in Psychology, Marital and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Professional Counseling
• A working knowledge of theories and practices
• An ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships
• An ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations and groups
• A resiliency along with an ability to assess situations
