As a leading construction company in the industry, we specialize in residential and commercial concrete projects, delivering high-quality results to our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze construction plans and specifications to accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
· Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
· Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
· Conduct on-site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements, identify potential challenges, and provide accurate cost estimates.
· Utilize our estimating software, Plan Swift, to generate accurate and comprehensive estimates.
· Research and analyze current market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive and cost-effective estimates.
· Collaborate with the procurement team to source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and availability.
· Prepare and present detailed estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in residential and commercial construction projects.
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques. - Proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software and tools.
· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Professional certification or degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
