About the Role: We are on the hunt for fully remote, work from anywhere in the US, Instructional Designers specializing in Social Studies in the K-5 sector. As Instructional Designer you will create content for online learning including storyboards, instructional video scripts, assessments, learning objects, games, and other interactive learning materials. You will conceptualize and storyboard innovative digital learning experiences, according to agreed-upon budget, timeline, standards, and specifications. Responsibilities: * Conceive effective and engaging digital instructional experiences for K-5 students * Create storyboards and scripts for online learning that are age appropriate and meet provided objectives * Ensure interactive learning components support blueprints and meet required course and lesson objectives. * Ensure learning components use clear, engaging, interactive design, are age-appropriate, and are pedagogically sound Qualifications: * You have both teaching and curriculum development experience in K-5 social studies. Experience creating storyboards and scripts in the development of online learning materials is strongly preferred. * You have a deep understanding of instructional best practices for K-5 students, the facility to quickly comprehend requirements for a product, and the ability to efficiently develop content that meets requirements. * You have a strong attention to detail and are comfortable working with new technology * You effectively communicate both visually and verbally and are a good listener. remote work
