POSITION SUMMARY 

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at [Company Name], you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Onsite- Goleta, CA

8am-5pm, M-F

3 month contract with opportunity to transition to full time employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Posting payments and reconciling accounts receivable transactions.
• Following up with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding payments.
• Monitoring aging reports and initiating collection efforts as needed.
• Collaborating with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing and payments.
• Assisting with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Providing analysis and insights on accounts receivable metrics to support decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
