Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Edge Building Solutions is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team to help us monitor our current operations and to ensure our organization is as efficient as possible. The Process Engineer will play a key role developing and maintaining manufacturing standards, bill of materials, and routings. This role will also be involved in designing production layouts and processes that increase productivity, eliminate wastefulness, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards within the organization. The position will serve as the liaison between internal and external resources to move the business forward.
