Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Position Summary
Reporting to the Chemical Engineer, the Process Engineer is a key contributor to Zinpro’s success support business and operational objectives by leading continuous improvement initiatives throughout all Zinpro manufacturing facilities; including the assessment, development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment and operating strategy. Work will center around process improvement, equipment selection, operating strategy, commissioning new equipment, and other activities related to successful and world class operation of the plant. Success in this position requires strong analytical and project management skills, including the ability to lead and execute process improvement activities of varying complexity in a chemical manufacturing environment. This role is based at Zinpro’s manufacturing plant in Shell Rock, Iowa.

Travel Requirements
This position will work primarily at their home manufacturing plant facility and is expected to engage in company-sponsored travel approximately 10-15% of the time. Travel will consist primarily of visits to Zinpro Corporate Headquarters and manufacturing facilities.
