Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Schedule: Swing Shift 7a-7p. (The shift is 12 hours, rotating weekends; one week the schedule is 36 hours, the next week the schedule is 48 hours).
Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced Process Technician to support our manufacturing processes. As a Process Technician, you will be working in a manufacturing team on the factory floor where you will monitor and adjust processes, test batch quality working with our Quality Department, maintain equipment logbooks, ensure the area is clean, and report any machine faults to shift supervision and via Maintenance Job Ticket.
To ensure success, you should have keen observation skills, experience with industrial equipment design, and the ability to stand for long periods.
The Process Technician must be able to identify repeat faults and suggest manufacturing improvements to increase production throughput.
