Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Building with Integrity

    • Be the engineering and technical expertise to the operations when the lines unexpectedly go down, requiring fast-paced problem solving and communications with the operators
    • Become a member of our Lean efforts, such as Kaizen events, where an emphasis is placed on creativity

    Adapting Together

    • Educate plant personnel on engineering and technical issues so they understand how their actions impact the machines and operations
    • Provide training and start-up activities of new equipment and processes

    Reinventing Through Resilience

    • Proactively investigate manufacturing problems with the line and recommend corrective actions (this includes consulting with production and maintenance personnel, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective actions, and following through on recommendations to evaluate their effectiveness)
    • Manage capital projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met or exceeded (you may work as part of a team or have sole ownership on some projects)

    REVEAL EVERYTHING

    FOUNDATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
    • Minimum of 0 -3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong change management skills and experience with all levels of the organization, to influence and get buy-in while maintaining relationships

    ADDED VALUE:

    • SAP experience
    • Strong mechanical aptitude (welding, machining, alignment, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics)
    • Ability to read, verify and edit drawings
    • Capital project management
    • CAD
    • Previous experience with the application of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Statistical Process Control and Team Facilitation or ability to quickly learn and demonstrate
