Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. This role works to develop and continuously improve the "lean" processes we use at Tait which keep our automated assembly lines working smoothly and efficiently with short lead times. This is vital to developing and manufacturing the high-tech products we do, in a complex and competitive industry.
